Based on the reviews of all the food in this terminal, and a bad experience with airport pizza in another city, I decided the pre-made sushi was probably the safest option out of them all... and I feel like I am right. Completely met my expectations for food court quality sushi. Of course be prepared to shell out money for it but honestly I was happy with what I ate. Tasted quite fresh. Two big trays filled me up real nice (as I didn't eat breakfast this morning). The staff member at the cashier - she was friendly and sweet to me.
As far as airport pizza goes, you could do a LOT worse. Probably takes a lot of permits to get a working gas oven in here. There was a bit of a wait even though it wasn’t busy, but it was worth the wait. Tasty and fairly comparable price wise to what you’d pay in an airport or in NYC.
The margarita pizza was actually really good, my boyfriend was happy with his sandwich too. Portions are not the biggest but you see the boxes there. Staff was surprisingly nice too!
I’m not sure why this place has such bad reviews. The pizza is honestly really good and the service was very straight forward- order and wait close by for your name to be called. It’s pricey but so is everything else at the airport. The staff was nice and the pizza was yummy! I’d get it again.
I recently visited Pizzaria Brooklyn Rebel at New York Airport. The pizza was freshly made and tasted good, although it was a bit smaller than expected. Given the prices at an airport and in the U.S., I think the price-to-quality ratio is fair. One suggestion for improvement: the pizza could be a little less greasy, but overall, it was still tasty . Don’t be put off by the negative reviews – many places at the airport get not-so-great ratings, but the food here was definitely decent.
